Nonkilling as an Ultimate Human Right-Responsibility, by Francisco Gomes de Matos

In Human Rights, an underlying constructive concept is PEACE
By several interrelated concepts it is powerfully realized
When LIFE we honor, respect, sustain and never cause to cease
Our planetary coexistence and interdependence is optimized

What is the ultimate humanizing right? It is PEACE
By derived rights it is being constantly realized
When we pledge "Life we will never cause to cease"
Our Nonkilling duty is being planetarily maximized

NOT TO KILL is more than an individual-collective obligation
It is a wise prerequisite to a much-needed unlimited LOVE
When NONKILLING becomes a psychosocial force for humanization,
With the RIGHT NOT TO BE KILLED, NONKILLING will stand above
